THE STORY OF A PHOENIX, A LION AND A UNICORN.

Our roots began in music production, but in the 1990’s, the challenging times of the recession proved too much; the owners blamed a particular financial institution and named the new company that emerged in “loving” memory of them.

The crest was originally an amalgamation of the main three high street banks of the time – all had logos featuring certain animals including a horse, a griffin and an eagle (can you guess who they were?), but over time, the crest has evolved into something more than a symbol of the past. The crest has taken on a life of its own that tells a new story.

And so, from a griffin, the phoenix was born, not only to represent our new company rising from the ashes, but also to signify the role we would play for our clients: transforming their businesses through strategic and creative ideas. These ideas had to be brave and achieve cut-through, they had to act courageously and have a certain ‘roar’ to them, and thus the eagle became a lion. Of course, an idea is not enough if it is not executed beautifully – our belief has always been that people fall in love first with their eyes, then with their hearts and, ultimately, with their minds; everything we did had to be magnetically beautiful, beautiful like a unicorn.

And thus began the story of the phoenix, the lion and the unicorn…
