Badoo gets nautical with The Bank20 Dec 2016
The Bank created and delivered a brave and beautiful nautical inspired activation for world-class client Badoo on a phenomenally lavish scale.
2016 was an incredible year for Badoo. As one of the world’s fastest growing social networking companies they are now have a very healthy 333 million members. We created and delivered a night to champion and celebrate these amazing successes and achievements – a nautical inspired experience onboard the luxury Silver Sturgeon yacht brought together by a top bill of internationally acclaimed acts.
Guests were transported in style in stretched Hummers from the Badoo HQ into an under water-world, welcomed by a show-stopping fireshow and LED drummer, as they entered the Savoy Pier on London’s Embankment. Expert mixologists designed signature themed cocktails for the ultimate drinking experience accompanied by naked sushi models adorned in the most delicious seafood. Amazing themic décor throughout to complement international Aqua acts immersed themselves in huge fish tanks.
A brilliant Jack Sparrow character led our guests to the huge array of fancy dress & ‘under the sea’ props in our treasure chest box and directed them to our Slo-Mo video booth.
Britain’s Got Talent semi- finalist acts …Faces of Disco kicked off the proceedings before disembarking down the River Thames backed by London’s incredible twinkling skyline.
The night got into full swing with DJ Roustabout mixing house classics accompanied by our LED Bongo player and Mirror Violinist.
