‘Nastro Azzurro’ is Italian for ‘blue ribbon’ and is at the heart of The Peroni brand. This campaign highlights this by weaving the ribbon through the Italian Style icons from the brand launch.

Despite the intricate and complex nature of the finished film, no computerised graphics or computer-generated imagery (CGI) was used. We can proudly say that no animators were harmed during the making of this film. In fact, everything was captured on 35mm film and then assembled into the final commercial.

The music, the aria from opera La Wally, was specially recorded using a brilliant young soprano from The Royal Academy. The traditional score was augmented with subtle electronics to give it a modern edge.
