The Bank enjoyed a very successful weekend at the inaugural On Blackheath music and food festival in South East London, where we represented our client Neff, sponsor of the festival’s Neff Food Stage.

One of the highlights of the weekend was our music-and-food-based “Guess The Pun In The Oven” competition, which asked festival-goers in the Neff Slide&Hide® tent to decipher punning band-related clues hidden within each Neff display oven.

The 25,000 visitors to the two-day festival were also asked to vote for the overall winner of our recent online competition to win a Neff Slide&Hide® oven.

Over at the Neff Food Stage, we welcomed passionate foodies of all ages during the course of the two days, who were all keen to watch free live cooking demos from a host of celebrity chefs, including Gizzi Erskine, the Meringue Girls and Richard Bainbridge.

When not watching Gizzi at work on the Food Stage or flexing their punning muscles in the Neff Slide&Hide® competition tent, the family-friendly festival audience was able to catch live acts on the main stage – including Massive Attack, Grace Jones, Imelda May and Athlete, amongst others – or chow down at the many artisan food stalls.
